BTS have some great songs in their album Love Yourself: Tear. There was a huge opportunity for the album to be nominated for the Grammys. Even though BigHit submited it for many categories, there was one category they didn't try: Best RnB song.
And guess what? Singularity, the album intro, has all the potencial to be submited and even nominated. Did BigHit miss that big opportunity?

All Music talked about all BTS solos in their review, but only V's voice in Singularity was highlighted.

Here's the thing. Singularity is one of the most
praised and critically acclaimed BTS songs. It's has been highlighted as an RnB
hit, so it had the potential to be submitted for a Grammy nomination as Best
RnB song.
Of course some
people will think this as a joke, putting sales and calling it a
"flop" because other solos had better sales, but none of them had
been as highlighted as Singularity and plus, Grammys isn't about popularity and
sales and a big example of this is the Grammy winner RnB song "LAKE BY THE
OCEAN" by Maxwell. The music video only
has 3M views and as far as I know, it didn't even debut at the Billboard Hot
100.
So, yes,
Singularity had the potential to be nominated for a Grammy as Best RnB song. I
just wish BigHit realized that and had submitted it.
Plus, the
sales aren't even that bad? Considering that Singularity didn't have any
modification it ranked very high when LY Answer came out, so?
Singularity also peaked at #4 in the kpop songs chart in iTunes US
